Toodledo.com is an easy to use, web-based to-do list. Keeping track of all your tasks will help you avoid disorganization, stay motivated and be more productive. Check it out. One note…if you happen to have an iPhone the app is much cleaner and fun to use than the web program.

Dropbox is a clean and easy way to sync files across devices. Multiple computers, phones… it is pretty much instant (for small files) and you can access the files from the Dropbox often without downloading… much more fun then FTP:) For example you can email an attachment directly from the Dropbox. This is still not for editing from but the days of cloud based video production are probably coming sooner than we might think:) I use this more for estimates, production stills etc. it is like a thumb drive but way more useful. BTW if you sign up for a free account by clicking the link we both get a bit of free space:)

Tave is an online studio manager ($25 per month)… it allows us to keep track of clients, conversations, dates, job status, progress, and financial stuff. Enough of it is automated that it is like having an assistant to keep track of your studio! Takes a while to set up but it is worth it. The big thing that we like about this one over say ShootQ is its flexibility. It allows us to have more of a film production work-flow and branding.

Celtx is a free pre-production application, it may have some rough edges but it really does touch about every aspect of pre-production so it is a very valuable tool. And it is Free:) I have yet to try the iPhone app ($9.99) it is on my list though…
